"Good exhibitions, for me, combine my favorite aspects of design - shape, color and scale - with a good story, a bit of drama and an abundance of learning experiences for visitors. I love the challenge of bringing all these elements into balance."
Lynn Baum, Senior Content Developer
Lynn has spent her entire career committed to the belief that museums have a special role to play in helping everyone become enthusiastic and successful learners. For over 25 years she has been applying this guiding concept to the development of programs and exhibits for all audiences with a particular focus on high school youth. Lynn has a passion for all things geological that began with a hike down the Grand Canyon in high school and continues to this day.
"For me, the magic of a museum is the potential to create excitement and passion around learning, whether it is something new or making a connection to something familiar. And just as exciting is that this possibility exists for everyone."

"Exhibit design is a contradictory medium: at once practical, as well as beautiful; elucidating scientific concepts, and emotionally moving; creating a space removed from where you just came from, and making you hyper-aware of the world overlooked; reminding visitors to preserve the past, and encouraging exploration of the future."
